Tonight we held auditions for our Chamber Choir in 2010-2011, gave our graduates the chance to help secure our future, and announced our fall musical; CHICAGO. As I look at the list of those who audtitioned for Chamber Choir tonight I can't help but smile not only for those who are accepted, but the amount of talent we have and those who will have another chance to make in next spring. Thank you to past graduates who have laid the groudwork for us. Thank you parents who are constantly supporting both your ch
The 2010-2011 Chamber Choir auditions are tomorrow evening. We have a HUGE turnout of students for tomorrow night. In fact, when all is said and done we were holding some auditions close to MIDNIGHT! To keep students from auditioning this late we have ajusted the audition times. Those times are posted in the choir room hallway. If there are issues with the time given I will of course address them and make it possible for ALL interested students to audition. Thanks all!
Meeting of KVMBC Thursday

Sharing our gift in that setting was amazing. We were able to make a recording of our spring music with the Chamber Choir and that recording turned out really great.
Tomorrow in Concert Choir the 2010-2011 choir cabinet will be elected. They will have a tough act to follow and I am sure those chosen will be up to the task of leading our choirs into the next decade. I will post the new officers here, Stay Tuned! I have heard so many times in the last month about the passion, musicality, and sensitivity that our choirs sing with. I can't agree more with those statements be them from parents, judges, students, or fellow directors. Thank you KHS students for your commitment and passionate drive to do your best. |
